H1 visa fee - employer?
Hi
I currently have a job offer with US employer. They say I have to pay all the H1 application fees.
The total is about $3000:
Do you think this is reasonable or should I insist they pay all the cost? Is it common employers ask candidates to pay the fees?
Also included is lawyer fees, what are they required for? when I could potentially apply myself so long as I have a job offer.
Can I apply at my local consulate?
