Urgent Help Required
My H4 to H1 change of status visa application got approved, effective October 1st 2007.
But the Approval notice does not have the I94 number on it, so the SSN office is not issuing SSN. All the stubs and portions where I94 was expected are intact, but just the place where I94 should have been written is blank.
I am not clear on what is my visa status and what should i do to get I94 number.
Should i go outside of US to get visa stamping ???? or everything is in good shape. Could this be because of a mistake on part of USCIS if yes then what should I do.
Please advise, ASAP.
