Mumbai Consulate Rejects

Hi,

I came to now that those people who are the residential of south India going to the Mumbai consulate instead of going to Chennai they are rejecting them straight away it seems?

Actually I was supposed to go Chennai Consulate because of the rejection percentage in Chennai is high, I booked the appointment in Mumbai.

Is there anybody can tell whether is true or not

Most probably you'll be redirected to Chennai.

Are you a resident in US going to stamp visa?

If you are staying for more than 6 months in mumbai consulate area and you have proof of residence, then you will be allowed to attend the interview; otherwise you will be refered back to Chennai. This had happened to my candidates.
