221(g) refusal with "No Passport" note

Hi Friends,

I attended for visa interview on Sept 21st , 2007.
Consular verified all my documents and he issued 221(g) form with a tick mark on all documents from Petitioner.
Like, his tax papers, wage reports, client letter etc.

He also mentioned that I need to drop all this papers in VFS drop box also asked me not to drop my passport.
He specifically written on 221(g) "No Passport".

I will be receiving the docs from my consultant by end of Dec 10th.

Can anyone please suggest me the chances of getting visa in 221(g) with no passport drop cases.

Hi Aruna

There are many cases where 221g was issued and VO asked the applicant not to drop the passport. So dont worry. Once they verify and everything is okay, they will intimate you to drop the passport. It seems that it could take between 4-8 weeks and sometimes longer. Just give all docs properly and hope for the best
