Hi,

I have an approved H1b petition from my employer for 2007. But my name was misspelt on the petition and was sent for amendment. I have not received any news on that.

Can another firm apply for H1B in 2008 for me if I move to another firm? Will there be any conflict?

If you are out side US you can apply any number of h1.

Hi,
No need to woryy about the name mismatch, u can go and attend the interview at specified consulate because this year there are lot of typo errors are there in I797 ,even my frnd doesnt have date of birth printed and therer is mismatch in his name ,he got stamped even to me dob change ,dont worry ,file an amendement for changing.but go and attend the interview ..........
