h4 to h1

Hi,
I'm in H4 visa status. I'm planning to do my H1 visa now but I will be going to India after applying....will there be any problems while returning??I will be returning back by the end of October.

It shud be ok

You should be ok if you get an approval when u are in India.
The crux is that you should always be entering into US on a current visa. So in your case, if you get an approval when u are in India, you should ideally get that new h1 stamped and then enter US on that H1 rather than on ur H4.
