Emergency Travel-Please Help

I m currently on J1 visa (stamped on passport) with waiver and my non-profit employer has applied for my H1 which is in pending status (i have the receipt notice for the same). Now i have to travel to India next week. Is it advisable to travel on pending H1 status? What r the precautions or documents i should be taking with me? -confused and worried-

Not a problem

You have a valid visa stamped on your passport that you can use to return to the US.

If your H1B is approved while in you're in your home country, you can use the original approval notice with other documents to get your H1B stamped on your PP before returning back to US.
