Hello Guys,
My Home town is in chennai. I was doing my masters in UK and then working there for 4 months (almost 2 years i was in UK) and then i got a job in US an indian company based in noida. They sponsored me h1b visa. After coming to India i immediately started working in noida and its almost 4 months now and i am planning to book my visa date.
"My company advises me to book in delhi consulate but my hometown is in chennai . They say that since i was outside my hometown for 2years and when i returned back i started working in noida.. so i can apply in delhi consulate"
When i called VFS delhi they said i can apply too.
Is this true since i have seen many threads redirecting H1b candidates to hometown embassy!!
Will there be any issue in my case. please help?
