Need urgent Help!
I was working on L1B with X Company that petition and I-94 was Valid till 30th Sep 2007 and my depends also had valid L2 Visa and I-94 till 30th Sep 2007. The Company Y applied H1B petition in April 2006, it got approved on 1st Oct 2006 with I-94 valid till 30th Oct 2009. Due to some reason I did not switch to Company Y immediately right after H1B approved. I was still working with X Company on L1B Visa. In July 2007 have resigned Company X and then joined Company Y. After I joined the company Y, have applied Visa status transfer for my spouse and kids L2 to H4 on July 23rd 2007. Due to some reason immigration department raised RFE on I 539 form based on online status, I yet to receive the physical copy of that RFE. Based on above situation, have couple of questions:
1 Can you see any kind of violation happened because of that RFE has been raised for change status L2 to H4?
2. Do you see any kind of ill-legal Visa status transfer from L1 to H1 based on my above scenario?
