Hi All,
I have my interview for my H1B visa for which I have few questions which are
1. How did you come to know about this US employer?
2. Briefly describe about your sponsoring employer company.
3. How big is your company?
4. How many years has your company been operating from the location that you are going to work at?
5. Why do you want to join such a small company, as your current company is very big?
6. In which area does your employer work?
7. Is this firm software consulting one?
8. Who are the clients for your company?
9. What kind of projects does your US employer engage?
10. Who designed the project that you are going to work in?
11. Will they sell this product?
12. How many people from your company work for your client?
13. For which project you are taken for? Is it at company’s place or at client’s place?
14. How old is your company? When was it founded?
15. Where are you going to stay?
16. How did you get this offer?
17. Why don’t you prefer to go the your current company in US rather going to a new company as your current employer has an office in US as well?

Please help me with the answers.

In short, my best recommendation would be to do a copy past of all these questions that you posted here and send an email to your employer who filed your H1 and pretty sure 99.9% of your questions should be answered by them…

AK=> Since your company applied for your H1 which got approved for which you are attending and I bet ya!! you should be knowing better then anyone else on how you came to know about this US employer than anyone else on this forum

2. Briefly describe about your sponsoring employer company.
3. How big is your company?
4. How many years has your company been operating from the location that you are going to work at?
5. Why do you want to join such a small company, as your current company is very big?
6. In which area does your employer work?
7. Is this firm software consulting one?
8. Who are the clients for your company?
9. What kind of projects does your US employer engage?
10. Who designed the project that you are going to work in?

AK=> depends initially in company guest house (if they have one) until you find your own accommodation based on project location and then you might rent an apartment, house etc

16. How did you get this offer?
AK=> I am sure you should know answer to this one

17. Why don’t you prefer to go the your current company in US rather going to a new company as your current employer has an office in US as well?
AK=> Good offer, benefits, potential growth in your carrier, big client projects etc.,
