Information on H4 visa

Dear Sir/Madam,

My husband is a H1B visa holder in the USA. We are planning to apply for the H4 visa's. How long will it take in order to get the H4 approval? Please provide an answer on this matter.

If you are not yet in US, you don't have to file for H4 visa approval. You can just go to the embassy/consulate to get H4 visa.
