How to be a temporary worker in the US

I am having a plan to find a job in Houston, Texas, US and work for 1 year, from Feb 2008 to Feb 2009.
(I am a Vietnamese, living in Vietnam. I am a bachelor of Networking and Communication)

Please let me know what I have to do, to get the visa of working in the US.
