Hi,
I have filed for my H1 Visa, and my petition has come. Now I have to schedule an interview for the same. I want to schedule the interview in Jan 2008, but I don't want to take up my job in the US until Jul/Aug 2008. My questions are:
1) Once the petition has come, is there a last date by which I should schedule my interview?
2) Can I get my H1 stamped in Jan and then travel to the US in March for a personal reason, and finally take up the job in Jul/Aug? I already have a B1 visa also.
