Hi All,
My wife came to USA March 10,2006 on H4 Visa. I was working for ABC
with H1B status which was valid till March 08,2008.
But Chennai consulate issued her H4 visa till Aug 3,2008(most probably
with date format issue)
We have applied H1B for her in May 2006 and she got her approval on Aug
16 which is valid from Oct 1,2006 to sep 30,2009.
She has SSN but never worked on H1B. I have transferred my H1B from ABC
to XYZ on Aug 17,2006 but haven't transferred her
to XYZ.
We went to India in November 2007. I have attended the New Delhi
Consulate alone in November, 2007 and got the visa on XYZ.
I returned to U.S in Dec 2007.She wants to be back in U.S in Jan 2008.
I would like to know if she needs to attend for H4 stamping on XYZ or
she can come back on old H4 Visa(ABC) which is still valid.
I would appreciate if anyone can tell me what would be the pros and
cons with regards to her H1B.
Please let me know your Valid suggestions ASAP.
