Passport Not Delivered

Hi,

I had my visa interview on Jan 2nd 2008 and I got the visa. But when I checking the Passport Tracking Status it says "Not yet delivered to VFS". When I contacted the call center they say, it is still under processing.
Please let me know if anyone of you attended the interview on this date.
If so, what is the status? Also how many days would it take for the consulate to hand over the passport to the VFS?

Same experience

I have the same situation for a Jan 3rd visa interview. My wife and I were granted H4 and H1-b respectively (both our cases was a renewal, not a new visa). Her passport is back. But mine is stuck. My interview was in Mumbai, so I emailed mumbainiv [at] state [dot] gov. They replied back saying there is a delay in getting clearance from Washington. I have had to reschedule my return tickets back to the US. I'm trying to keep my patience, but it is hard. Try the same email address if you're interview was in Mumbai.
