Got 221g Two times .. Please suggest

Hi All,

I attended interview on 4th Dec,2007 at Chennai. They issued me 221g for the additioanal Corporate Docs.

On 10th Dec, I submitted all the required at VFS hyderabad.

On 13th Dec, I got the courier from Consulate. When I opened it I saw my passport was returned back with one more 221g.

The second 221g mentions the Additional Administrative Processing. The consulate will contact me once the processing is done.

I dont know how long will this process time go.

Anybody with the same experience or somebody who can help and suggest me is most appreciable.

Will look forward for the reply/ call.

Hi Mohammad

Just a couple of questions to think about the possible outcomes in your case..
What are the questions & answers in your interview?
Which documents in the 221(g) were ticked or what documents did you submit..

Dont worry about getting a second 221(g)...Its not abnormal..
Fingures crossed and wait for the result...
You can mail/call and ask US chennai consulate for the status of you application, but they usually say it is in administative processing(most times)..

Paul,

Interview for me was general.
VO took my blue file ( DS 156, 157, I797, HDFC and passport).

1. He asked how long you stayed in Malaysia - I said over 2 years.
2. Which company you are working in India
3. What are your job duties.
4. He saw something on system for 5 mins and issued 221g marked all the employer documents ( left side of blue 221g).

I told him, i have all the documents, he asked me to drop it through VFS.

then i dropped it and again got one more 221g with administrative processing.

Lets wait and see..
