Without New I-797 india visit

My previous company is A now i am working with B comany my H1b transfer to company A to B but i did not get My New I-797 (Company B) i have a valil visa but my question is without I-797 ( Hard copy) can I go india for 20 days if no than any other supporting documents require

You must have hard copy of your H1B transfer approval along with I 94 at the bottom. You must surrendor the I 94 alone came along with H1 tranfer plus original I 94 at the port of exit to airline staff.
