**** Will my H1b petition be cancelled if I go on L1-B ****

Hi All,

I have L1-B stamped in Dec-2007 from Company A.
I have also got approved H1-B petition from Oct-2007 for company B; I didn't attend for H1 VISA stamping yet.Now I am planning to go to USA on L1-B for Company A

My questions are

1) If I go to USA on L1-B, will my present H1-B petition becomes invalid?

2) Can I change the status of my VISA from L1-B(Company A)to H1-B(Company B) with the existing approved petition? or do I have to go for fresh H1-B in 2008 Quota?
