I wonder if anyone can clarify me...Do we get I797 form back after the interview?

What if we dont get it & do I need it after I go to US ?

Can we request the consulate , if we dont get the I797 after stamping ?

-- Yes. Atleast I got it back. It is required at the POE.

What if we dont get it & do I need it after I go to US ?

-- Yes. At the port of entry and it is the doc that keeps you legal alien.

Can we request the consulate , if we dont get the I797 after stamping ?
