Need advice on H1 interview from other countries

Hi,

I have my H1 papers ready with me. But i am planning to travel to UK in a month on my company assignment. Can i attend the interview in US consulate of UK or for that matter from any other European countries ?

Please advice.

If will be a visitor to that country then the answer is NO.
If you will be a resident then live there for 6 months before going to the consulate there.
Otherwise goto the US consulate under whose jurisdiction your residence falls, or run the risk of being redirected back.
