H1 visa eligibility

To whom it my concern,

I'm coming to you today for any and all help you might be willing or able to give me!! I have a friend who resides at this time in Canada and he is wanting to come here to the states to find work and later reside . He has been told by an employer here interested in him that they would hire him as soon as he gets the paper work done .My question is what paper work are they referring too , is it the ( EAD )? We were told by the immigrations that he would need a employer to sponsor him ? We were also told he could come here and work with no problem because he has a valid passport?

With his passport something about he has 90 days then he just hopes back across the border to say hey I'm home then just comes right back?? Same with visiting? This all is very confusing and again any and all help you might be able to give us would be greatly appreciated

This doesn't really help me hun as he has no degrees !? Could you please give me more info as this stuff is so confusing !! Thank you once again

Then he can't really get H1B
