My lawyer screwed the original application my employer has filed. My
employer had asked in his cover letter that the company is requesting a 3
year extension after a 6 year term. However, my lawyer being an "expert" in immigration law said that the goverment allows only a 1 year increment on the 7th year and changed the I-129 and LCA already signed by the petitioner from 3 years to a 1 year request. After giving him clippings confirming that his "expert" knowledge is wrong, he finally conceded and will file an H1 amendment once a receipt on the previous filing has been received. Since we no longer trust the lawyer, we would like to know how do we go about filing H1 Amendment?
