Do we need project document during our visa inteview?

My empoyer from USA told me that before you go for stamping, we need to send you one project document.

Yes i got my project document from my employer.

What type of project document? I got employement letter only and my employer said it is enough. There is no information about project document in vfs site as well.

This is most general question, visa officers are asking for project specification docments or wht kind of project your going to do in US?
