L1 to H1 vacation

    L1 to H1 vacation

    I'm currently on L1 with company A (with validity till sep-2008) and company B is willing to file H1 on April 2008. Company B is advising me not to go on vacation out of country after H1 is filed as there may be queries regarding vacation. Is this true? Please help me at earliest as if this is true, I've to plan for vacation in next few days.

    if you are applying for COs then better not travel afetr application.
    otherwise to change to H1 you ill have to travel abroad to get a stamp.
