H-1&B1/B2 visa

Dear Sir,

I have a question if you could help me will be highly appreciated,
I have an H-1 Visa stamped on my passport which is valid from October 1,2007 and at the same time I had another B1/B2 visa and still valid so can I visit the US before October 1st using my B1/B2 visa or I can't enter the US before October 1,2007? and is my visit will do anything wrong to my H-1 visa validity or something like that ?bearing in mind that I have all the proofs that I will be back before starting working with my H-1 Visa.
of course I understand that I should leave the US and come back after October 1,2007.

You can come on B1/B2 visa before Oct 1 but you can't work. It won't affect your H1.
