I am a Permanent Resident of Canada living in Canada. My U.S employer would like for me to work out of their U.S corporate office. Therefore, this would mean, them filing for a TN visa. In order for them to file the TN Visa, I have to be a Canadian Citizen, to which my citizenship is now in the process. However, this will take about 6 months to obtain. My question is, can I still go to the U.S and work at my U.S companies office? If so, will I be able to apply for a S.S.N? Please take in mind that whilst this will be happening, my Canadian Citizenship will be in the process. I do have my letter of confirmation that my Canadian Citizenship is pending process.
