Dear Sir/Madam,
I just got my approval notice(I-797) for my H1 extension. I will be going to Ottawa for my H1B stamping. As the new I-797 has a new I-94 attached to it I was wondering if I need to submit this to the airport authorities before leaving for Canada. I know that in certain situations an individual can use the I-94 to re-enter the US within 30 days so I was not sure if I should hang onto the I-94. I also have the old I-94 still stapled in my passport since I entered the country in 2006. Do I need to submit that as well.
