Hello Friends ,
My H1 is valid until oct 2009. My wife's H4 expired in september 07.
My wife last entered in US in January 07 ( and of course her H4 was valid at that time ). Her I-94 is valid until Oct 2009. Immigration officer wrote this date on her I-94 by hand.
Q.1 What about her status? Is valid I-94 is all she need. Does she need to apply for renewal of H4? ( even though four months have passed since her h4 expired)
Q2. I am about to apply for I-485 for us. I am applying for advance payroll for us but do not want to use them in case of travel.I want to keep her H4 and H1 valid so i dont have to use Advance payroll. She need to travel to pak in late 2008. What shold i do to keep her H4 live so she can travel???
