Changing status from L2 to H1

Hi All,

I am presently on L2 visa with EAD and working with an oragnisantion A. I want to process H1 this year.
My query is if my H1 petition got approved through employer B can I change my L2 status to H1 status with my current employer A.
In other word can I get my H1 transfered to employer A without joining employer B.

---- Why do you need to apply fro H1 from employer B and then get it trasnferred to employer A? If they can transfer Employer A should be able to apply for H1
