I'm currently doing my undergrad in the US on a Student Visa. I will graduate in May 2008 but the company that I will work for needs to file for the H-1 on April 1st. I have not yet completed all my degree requirements, I still have about 9 credits left, which I will finish by May. I'm being told by my company's lawyers that since I will not have the degree in hand on April 1st, they cannot apply for my visa. Is there anything that I can do in this situation? Any advice is appreciated.
