Hi,
My cousin and her husband with their 4 children are currently living in the US with his H-1B and their H4 visas.
The husband has recently returned to his native Ecuador and was able to extend his H-1B visa for another 3 years.
Since the couple is now separated the wife is left in the dark and does not know how to go about extending her and her children's visas. Their visas have now expired and she is afraid if she travels to Ecuador to extend their H4 visas they will not be allowed to return back to The U.S.
Do they need to return to Ecuador to extend their visas or when the husband extended his H-1B visa does this automatically extend his family's visas as well?
I would really appreciate a reply, thank you so much!
