Dear Sir/Madam,

In case if H1 visa holder; can the holder apply for a green card of a different neighbor country like Canada? because they both required a residency and what is the advantage or disadvantage of such status.

You can apply for green card of Canada. However, you will have trouble maintaining residency in both places as you need to be staying in both countries most of the time which is not possible.
