Travelling outside US - H1-B Extension

Hi All
Cheers! I am in need of experts advise.
My H1B Visa and I-94 Expires on APR-2004. My Company has already filed for Extension/Amendment during last week of OCT-03. They said the process will take minimum 6 months.
I want to go to India for my sister's marriage during FEB-04 and return to US during MAR-04(3 weeks prior to my H1 visa expires).
Will there be any problem if I do this? or What is the best possible option.
Please advise.

I don't see any problem as your current visa will still be valid at the time you return back.
