I worked here on a H1B visa (subject to cap) for 6 months and then changed my status to F1. I had my new visa stamped when I went back to India (for two months) after I got my visa status changed. Now I have graduated and I am on OPT. My original H1B expires in May 08.
I would like to know if I would be subject to the visa cap or not. And will it be just a case of sponsorship by the new company without being subject to the cap or would some other procedure be involved.
