I hold H1B thru employer A. My employer is not intrested extend my H1. He is asking me to convert it to L1. My H1 will expire in May 2008.

If I transfer my H1 petition to emplyer B before may 2007 ( I will get new petition for another 3 yrs with I-94) and apply for L1 thru employer A and change status from H1 (employer A) to L1 before may 2007. I am legally allowed to stay in US.
1. Is it possible for me to change status from L1 to H1B (for my employer B) in future ( after November 2008)?
2. If my employer A changes my VISA from H1B to L1B, Do I need to go back to India for stamping? my i-94 will expire in May 2008.
