Hi,
In the VFS site for obtaining visa appointments, I saw the following question to validate my eligibility for visa appointment stamping.
"Are you applying for same visa class that expired in the last 12 months?"
Question 1
What do they mean by Visa Class?....is L2 & H1B considered the same visa class as both allow you to work?
Question 2
When I last entered US in 2003, I had L2 visa. Then I switched to H1B and got also H1B extension which is now valid through 2010. But since 2003 I did not go out of US. So, I never got a chance to get Visa Stamping in the Passport. Now, I'm planning to visit India in March. Since it has been more than 2yrs (ie. >12 months) since my visa stamping in the pass has expired, can I still go ahead get the visa appointment in India for H1B stamping?
A quick response will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
PV
