I need some information about a correction in my name on my H1 visa paper. On my H1 visa paper my name is spelled incorrectly. My wife has gone to India for her H4 visa stamping. She went to the US Consulate where she was asked for my Original H1 paper with a corrected name.
1) Can I send an affidavit to get her visa stamped?
2) If NO, what is the procedure to get the name corrected?
3) Is there any office in Washington DC area where I can go personally and get it corrected?
