H1 transfer

Hi all,

I need a help, I have H1B visa which got expired in Sep 2002. In mid of Sep 2002, I changed my employer and applied for H1B visa transfer with new company, the receipt date was 02 Oct 2002. Till now I didn't get my visa from INS, just I have the EAC number. My question is "Before coming the new H1B visa, can I transfer to another company with my new EAC number". If YES or NO, please exlplain me how?
