Hi,
I am on H1 and my wife is on H4. She recently joined school here and we want to convert her visa to F1. I have a few questions regarding that:
1. Though I know a little bit, but would like to know in detail the process for applying for F1.
2. If INS denies F1 to her, will her H4 be still valid.
3. What is the probablity of INS denying F1 these days.
4. After INS approves her F1, how much time do we have to get her F1 stamped on her passport.
5. If INS grants her F1, can the US consulate in Canada or India deny stamping her F1 visa.
6. In case of #5 if US consulate denies her visa, will they revoke her H4.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
