h4 visa expiring no extention

My husband is on H1 visa for 'company A'and i am on h4 visa.my h4 is valid until april 11 2008.

My husband changed from 'company A' to 'Company B' last year and 'company B' applied for his H1 extention.My husband extention pitition was valid until 2010.but there was no stamping in his passport. 'Company B' has not applied for my H4 extention.

My H1 got approved in 2007 but due to medical reasons I have not used my H1 till now.

Meanwhile we applied for greencard and we received our EAD and AP.

now My Questions are:

1. What is my status going to be after april 11 2008?
   
2. If I go for stamping in canada what will be the priority visa H1 /H4?
   
3. Is it better to cancel my H1 before my H4 visa expires?
   
4. Is it better to apply for H4 visa extention with 'company B'now and go for stamping ?
   
5. If i want to use AP what was the process?
   
6. If i apply for SSN with EAD will EAD automatically come into effect?
   
7. If i go to canada for H4 stamping without the extention before the visa expires will it be any problem ? if i take my husband valid pitition and go for stamping will it be ok or stamping in his passport is compulsory?

Please advice me on all these matters as I was short of time.I would be very thankful to you if you advice me in this situation.

H4 and H1 issues

---- You can basically continue to be on EAD for employment and on AP for your status of stay in the country
[*]If I go for stamping in canada what will be the priority visa H1 /H4?

---- The priority has to be decided by you and nobody can dictate that. Other can suggest, but it remains your decision together with your Husband as to which Visa you want. As such there is no need since you have AP Papers in your possession. You can avoid the expense and by all means the AP is meant for that
[*]Is it better to cancel my H1 before my H4 visa expires?

---- There is no need as the EAD is already approved
[*]Is it better to apply for H4 visa extention with 'company B'now and go for stamping ?

---- If you are in the US and having an EAD there is no need for an H1 extension. However, it is an additional piece of paper as evidence of stay and work in this country
[*]If i want to use AP what was the process?

---- AP is a travel document. When you return back to US, you present your AP papers. It is a permit to enter the country after getting it duly stamped by the Officer at the POE, similar to a Visa
[*]If i apply for SSN with EAD will EAD automatically come into effect?

---- Yes
[*]If i go to canada for H4 stamping without the extention before the visa expires will it be any problem ? if i take my husband valid pitition and go for stamping will it be ok or stamping in his passport is compulsory?

---- If you are having AP Papers with you there is no need to go for a Visa. The rest of the statement is irrelevant
