Hi, I am a graduate student on OPT (valid till 09/30/2008). i have met all the requirements for MS in Dec but my graduation date is in May 2008( I was not required to register any course this semester). I need to go to INDIA on Apr 26 for a week after filling my H1B. If my visa application is processed during my stay in India, are there any chances of my H1-B getting rejected just because i am not in US ? will I have face any kind of problem while coming back from India if my h1b is approved?

---- You may be able to travel outside the US and return back under some rule/regulation. This is the case for people on OPT. Please check various websites for authentic information.
---- H1 is a lottery system now, so your chances are one divided by the number of applicants
