  • Going for H1 Visa stamping

    Hey guys,

I've been working on H1 visa since Feb 2004. My first H1 was going to expire on Feb 27, 2007 and I applied for renewal on Feb 15, 2007 and got the approval in April 2007.

I have not gone out of USA since then so I did not get the H1 visa stamped on my passport. Now I'm planning to go to Canada to get my visa stamped (I'm a permanent resident of Canada).

I'm planning to take following documents with me for visa stamping

    Ds 156 (With the photographs)
    Ds 157
    Passport
    I797A
    Employment Verification Letter
Visa Support Form from employer to the US Consulate
I129 petition for a nonimmigrant worker
    Pay stubs
    W2 (for 3yrs)
    Tax Returns

Should I take any other documents with for visa stamping?

Also How many pics I should take along with me and what sizes?

How do I pay the fees at the US Consulate? Can I pay cash or do I have to pay the money at Scotia bank?

If someone has got their H1 Visa stamped recently please help me in this.

Thanks a lot for your time!!
