H-4 Extension stamping

Hi,
Iam on H-4, expired in jul 2007,have got extension till 2010 but havent gone for stamping yet. Should I need to go along with my husband(H-1 visa holder) for my stamping?? Please need a reply soon

Why do you need your stamping? You can stay in the country without stamping as long as you have a valid visa.

However, if you're travelling to your home country, then you may need the visa if the same on your passport has expired.

You can go alone, you don't need your spouse with you for the stamping.

Thanks a lot for the reply....I had heard a new rules that my spouse should accompany me for stamping...so i was worried
