H1b Transfer

May I know when does the current employer comes to know that the H1b has been transfered by its employee. I would like to wait for some time after I transfer my H1b, will this be okay or I have to inform (resignation) them asap I initiate my transfer. Please help.

The reason I am asking is that I need to complete my commitment period with company A which hold my h1b as of now, but the problem is I am likely to go into a new project well before with company B if i get it transferred.

I do not want to go into new project with company A due to my personal reasons. Please help.

Your current employer does not know about your transfer unless you/some person tell them.

Even if you get the H1 transfer approved, you may continue to work for your current employer as long as H1 with them is valid. You can later join the new employer as long as their H1 is valid.
