221g Administrative process

Hi
i went to consulate on 11 april , my case was pending due to 221G admin process. officer told me that they will get back by courier with in two weeks.
my wife is working in USA with green card holder . i given that information in 156 from it will aftect my visa process . How long they will take to process my application . if anyone can suggest me regarding my case

If they kept your passport, you should get it in 2-4 weeks. One of my friend got it in 4 days. Is this for an extension or a new H1b?
