Going back to old company

Hi,

I used to work for company A. Got laid off , joined company B. But , company A has an approved Labour for my Green Card so I wanto go back and join them.
Will they have to initiate and H-1 transfer or can they use the one they already had for me if it was not cancelled and if they decide to transfer will it create any problems.
