Leaving in Punjab want to take interview at Mumbai

This is in regards with the H4 visa interview questions I have for you, below are the list of question which I am
confussed of,

1> Address on passport is of punjab. Can interview be scheduled at mumbai consulate?
2> Can somebody else submit the papers on her behalf at mumbai consulate.
3> Name on ticket is "FNU Gurpreet kaur"
Name on Passport is "Gurpreet kaur" (No last name no middle name)
Will this make any difference when travelling
4> When booking interview on line its showing dates till May.
Can you book the interview in July.

You need to ...

You need to go to the consulate that falls under your regional jurisdiction.

For Punjab it would be Delhi and not Bombay.

The name should not be a big problem and anyway you may not have the time now to get it changed, so go ahead and apply with this passport.

You can book an interview date which is available online. If you see July dates as available, sure book one, if not, then you need to wait till the appropriate time period.
