H-1, H-4 visa

I recently changed company and got my H1b transfer approved. I have h-1 visa on my passport (previous employer) which is valid for 2 more years. I going to india next week to my marriage. So, I need to get H4 visa (in chennai) for my wife which would be with my current employer H1b approval. Do my passport also required to have a new h1b visa. If that is the case, can I apply for both the visas at the same time with a single application.

You don't need new stamp. Stamp is only for entry.

If you wish, you can still apply together.
