L1 to H1...Please advise

HI ,
I am working with Com A on L1 and I got offer from Com B. IS there any way to convert my L1 to H1 visa status without applying for general cap as is already closed for fiscal year 2009.
Or is there any way com B can apply for my work visa after April i.e other than H1 b visa??

You must apply in April 2009 for start Oct 1 , 2009. There are no other options!
