Travel with visa from previous employer

I have a valid H-1B visa stamp in my passport from a previous employer which has not expired and is for multiple entries, can I use this visa stamp to travel out of US to India now that I work for another company? Will this cause any problem at the port of enrty when I return? I have the valid original I797 from the new employer.
